Pretty big industry with allot of web shops. I would say that to the end user this could be worth $1000+ maybe more.

This Ebay auction has been carefully prepared with some serious companies waiting for a month to snipe the closing. The bids are real, and they will go much higher as the auction draws to a close

I am a rookie domain peddler, with about a hundred domains including paintball.org and paintball.net

the paintball industry is about $600 million per year and very competitive. I have passed up offers between 50-80,000 for paintball.net and expect this auction to get into six digits in the final hour of bidding next Thursday

I try to buy domains in agressive industries and have enjoyed watching the experts communicate in this great forum

Paintball.Com sold for $100,000. I don't expect the .net would fetch the same, but $25k doesn't seem out of reach.

I worked in the paintball industry for a couple years. It is a high dollar business.

PaintBall has become very popular the last few years. Any PaintBall company would love to have that domain. I wouldn't sell it on ebay, thats for sure.

The company that carried the paintball.com bidding up to over 100k (after I dropped out at 55k) came back a couple years later and offered $1m to the present owner of paintball.com. When that did not work out, they ran at me for paintball.net but I was not interested at that time. I have two companies that placed serious offers a month ago that apparently would surprise you.

I placed the domain on ebay with good assurance I would receive a certain amount. That is why there was no reserve or minimum amount

you may enjoy the final 10 minutes of this auction next Thursday night 7:00 PM eastern time

and I might be totally wrong and give it away at far less than I have been offered?? life goes on

You are taking a great risk here imo. What if one of the companies won't engage in a bid war? Hey, but if it works, I'm sure you will sell it at a price you'll be happy with.

Good luck!

mickey, if it's the same players that were around a couple years ago then you very well may get 100k. From what I hear, they were pulling in sales of six figures daily!

Great name. I don't like .nets but I guess my perspective/perception is about to get an education.

Best wishes for a six figure sale!
