I am taking it that you have $ in the paypal account and a bad credit card? What are you worried about with updating your CC?

if his paypal is not verified to his bank account, then he is out of luck!

Yes my cc has expired , i am also overseas so i have to wait till i get back home.

My PP acocunt is verified with my bank account but I always have money in the PP account - I don't have any issues renewing and paying with PP though Godaddy or Moniker.

its because his CC has expired

I have reg some domains at www.domainerschoice.com using my paypal , no Credit Card required .

Also similar price to Godaddy to reg a dot com....

And very happy with there service , sent 2 emails they replied straight back , problem was solved.

Will use them again .

One possible solution:

I know, at least in the US, that you can purchase a Visa or MasterCard "gift card" at many retail stores. They seem to be sold in the same places as those gift cards that act as gift certificates for particular retailers (like grocery or convenience stores). You may or may not find the same thing in your country.

I have found them locally in denominations of $25, $50, and $100, and they cost an additional $3 to $7 service fee when purchased. You go online and register the card, then it can be used just like a credit card online. It has come in handy a couple of times when I didn't want to run a particular transaction through my regular personal or business accounts.

Or, it could be used if the regular card is tied up or empty at the moment. Might be an idea to save that domain name.

Yes we have those cards in Australia as well , its a great idea , but i am in the Philippines ATM and no such thing here... Anyway i have sorted the domain out with www.domainerschoice.com no CC needed.

Thanks.
