plural or the singular keywords

I was readjusting my keywords at namedrive and I was wondering if it makes a difference if i use the plural or the singular ie. Loans vs Loan. After looking at yahoo view bids it didnt seem to make a difference, but on iotaweb there was a difference on the google system.

i would certainly use the plural words... ie. "Car insurance Quotes" instead of "Car insurance Quote." It doesnt have much to do with the pay out rate, but more of the CTR...
