anyway to include even just 1 line/sentence of what a pm that has been sent to you contains? (same as subscribing to a thread)

many times it's helpful to know the 'jist' of a pm without having to come here and login. would be a great feature.

I think for privacy reasons they need to remain as PMs and not emails (in whole or part).

completely understood..it would be nice to have as an option tho (to turn off or on and have the default to off)
