It seems like every post in this section now is just a bunch of bickering going on. How would you guys get your nut if there was no politics/controversial section at all? I wouldn't mind it one bit... after all, this forum is about domaining isn't it?

For fun, cast your vote for having the political section or not.

I vote not.

I Vote Yes ! for the Politics Section

you know life is not all about Domaining there are other things too that you have to care about and by discussing these things may be some people will learn something about whats really going on and people will hear others viewpoint the peoples viewpoint rather than listening to the usual media.

50/50

Someone suggested having it NOT show up in New Posts. Therefore, as a subforum one would have to go looking for it rather than IN YOUR FACE presentation.

I really like that idea.

I just came here once again from the NEW POSTS section :) the point of discussion is to get people involved and if it doesn't show up there people wont get involved then no point for it to even exist.

I agree, i made that suggestion a long time ago that it should not appear in the unread posts or new posts.

Just like the adult section should not appear in the new posts/unread posts...

Now as for the Political section not existing period... there is one major reason this is a bad idea.

When you take away a specific forum, what you don't want is...people to start talking about politics in every other thread. So, i'd rather it be limited to one forum.

Point taken.

The Forum would be DEAD without the Political/Controversial section and most everyone here knows it.

If it really bothers you, I have a suggestion; DONT ENTER.

thanks :)

you dont have to be that harsh they cant give there opinion :?:

Cant or Can?

Not harsh at all... You need to get over how you perceive posts, I notice you have a real problem in this area, Always building a mountain out of a mole hill.

no comment raider :P do whatever you like :P

I vote for a moratorium on political threads :approve:

What I find funny is that you're bickering about the bickering going on in the political/controversial section.

Don, you busted me. What can I say? I just think the same posts and threads over and over get old in that section.

I vote the Politics/Controversial Sections be allowed to continue but the deliberate insults and name calling of posters be curtailed by a temporary suspension of a few days for the offenders. This is allowed for in the forum rules but its not being inforced.

I realize I may be subject to suspension myself but I feel if the insults and name calling directed toward me stop I will not be obliged to respond in kind. I'm anxious to see what others have to say about this, especially bd77 and Raider.

I would never want to see you get suspended H2FC. Your posts on global whining and Obama are way to funny to be missed even for a day.

Your post proves exactly what I thought....you're not man enough to take responsibility for your actions.
