I think DNF should allow users to post polls.

Recently, I wanted to see which parking services and registrars are most used by domainers on this forum, but without the ability to post a poll its quite difficult to properly conduct this type of thread.

Also, appraisal polls would get more responses, since users could simply rate the name through a poll instead of having to make a post.

Please allow us to post polls...at least in the Gold sections...

I concur.
Polls are a really good idea. When I managed a franchise group we started doing one or two polls a week on the intranet site. They loved it. There was always a healthy response percentage and the information was useful to us as well as the franchise owners.
The danger is everyone going poll crazy. Less is more in this case, better to have 5 useful polls per week than 50 silly ones. It would need some kind of control like Moderator discretion, poll creation by Exclusives only, or tight limits on how many polls a member can create (like 4 per year).

Agree, nice idea. These could be useful for getting feedback in a lot of different areas.

Cheers,
