Hey all

anyone has any good (free/paid) text editing programs to recommend?

I need to do all kinds of operations of large chunks of text/lines.
Mix, randomize, add up, permutations etc.

Used to do this with separate php scripts, but it's not that convenient.

thanks, I'll check these two.

I mostly need some operations on lines and lists of words.

This thread shows the usual futility of asking others for recommendations what with 8 different suggestions already. I think I will just stay with standard Notepad, so make that 9 suggestions now.
