Pre made forums

Has anyone come across some nice FREE pre built/hosted forums yet, that are able to be fully customised??? I have tried Proboards but seem to be very slow on load up and unrealiable?

If by fully customized you mean able to edit the php files themselves...you won't find one. If you are able to upload/edit files, you would have way too much access to the server/service.
