Okay so I have been trying to think up creative ways to sale my names. I have decided to do a domain raffle. The raffle will last for 7 days. You may purchase as many numbers as you want to increase your chance to win. Then at the end of the 7 days a number will be chosen. Whoever holds the winning number gets the domain. The domain is registered at Godaddy and doesn't expire til 2009.


Payments will be accepted verified paypal.


Raffle tickets are $100.00 each.


*If there is anything against this in the rules I suppose this can be deleted.*


If anyone is interested in doing this please let me know so I can get something set up to give out numbers. Thanks

How can you escrow payments?

Is there a minimum tickets needed purchased for raffle to take place?

i think you should have a better game plan set up pink- you cant draw the numbers, so you need to set that up, how would escrow work like that, ect... this would be of interest but at 100.00 a pop for a chance, you need to have a rock solid game plan for it

Well yea I removed Escrow because it would be crazy to send 100 through it. As far as how many need to be sold I would like to sell at least a decent amount so I'm not selling it for $200! But to keep from taking money and then have to refund people I would have people add their name to the list of wanting to participate and then once 10 people or so are interested then the auction would take place.

What I mean by setting it up is a lot of sites actually offer functions that allow you to purchase things just for this. I would of course have a mod or admin help set it up if they didn't mind so everything goes smooth.

I risk $100 to win the name
You risk the name to get more then you paid in tickets

Meaning:

7 Days to buy your tickets, after that even if it's just 1 ticket the draw is made, therefore not just is the buyer taking the risk but you are too
