The site RapNation.com is for sale. This site has exploded in traffic and income lately mostly due to switching from
Adsense to Yahoo Publisher Network. I currently spend about $118 a day on Adwords promoting it, and make approximately
$248 from YPN for a daily profit of $130. My problem is due to the month-end + 45 days delay payments from YPN I can not afford to keep running the Adwords at this rate, so I'm looking to sell. I would like to get 10 months income for it ($39,000 for the the mathmatically challenged), but an open to reasonable offers.

How much traffic would be there without the adwords campaign? Any idea?

It's hard to say. At one time this forum was very active but had been slowly dying down to about 75 uniques a day before I turned the ads on. Obviously since then I've picked up a ton of new members and it's very active again. If I was to turn them off today, it wouldn't be anywhere near the 5,000-6,000 daily uniques I'm getting now, but significantly higher than 75. I'd guess maybe 400-500...? The longer the ads run the higher that number will be though.

not just the income based on traffic but also the number of posts

I'm not sure what exactly you're asking but I think it's about the daily payouts not being proportionate to the daily traffic..? YPN runs different ads every day and some have higher payouts than other, so there's random variation in it. The CTR also varies as with any site. So it's not a direct relationship of X amount of traffic = X amount of income. Just have to take averages.

Sorry about that, they do now. I moved the site over to a seperate account so I can just hand over the account to the buyer. Forgot to move the forsale folder when I did.

I have to say that I'm a little confused because I went to your site with great interest but I didn't see any of yahoo's ads? How is your site generating revenue?

You don't see the ads? Um, there's one at the top of the page just to the right of the logo and there's one at the bottom of the first post in every thread. Do you have an ad blocker turned on maybe?

why can't you just stop advertising for a month...until your YPN check arrives, then use that as capital to continue advertising

I can and that's what I will do if I don't sell it. However since I started up late last month I only have a few days worth coming in on that check, so it'll actually be about March 15th until I can turn it on and leave it on. I think it would be more beneficial to sell though because I'm pretty confident I can reproduce this success with two other (non-rap) sites I have but need to the money to run the ads.
