Hi,
I am just thinking about some of my domains and redeveloping them, the thing is that some of these domains were previously developed and looked pretty good/with good idea. I get the point that if they were good ideas then why did the name expire but there must be occasions where the original concept could be improved on and re-launched.

I know some of the original design agencies who developed the sites and was wondering about the legalities/ethics of contacts the design agencies with a view of a slight redesign/update to what they already have developed in the past.

Any thoughts would be interesting.

Thanks,

Rog.

Maybe not a bad idea, but developing it yourself is always best, they will probably charge a fair penny because they expect you to pay it.....its worth a shot!

dd - straight to the point as always! lol

This is what I was thinking, cloning the original site or getting as near as possible to it. It could be unethical but then again it is not really any different to buying the domain name that someone has let expire then pointing it towards an affiliate.

I will keep you updated on my project and will let you know if I go to jail - lol

Cheers,

Rog.
