Referal Problem

Hello i recently tried to refer someone who was allready a member of this forum so they could become a Platinum member but as they couldnt upgrade without having to change there username they did not accept.
But now i have another friend who isnt associated with this site yet and i am wanting to send them the referal i have so they can join but as it has been sent but not used i cannot.
Is there any way i can get my referal back so i can send it to them?
I sent a request to the support ticket a couple of days ago but i havent recieved an e-mail back with any details on whats happening.
