Registration + Hosting Package??

Does anyone use registrar which has a combined annual registration + hosting package that is inexpensive?

After some research I came across directnic.com which has a website hosting and domain registration package for $15.

Do any of the experienced gurus have any comments on directnic.com? Good service? Bad service? Other hidden fees/dangers?

PS: I don't speculate in domains. So ease of transfer is not an issue. I am just looking to buy a few expired domains and put up a simple 3-5 page affiliate website. Any comments welcome.
