Ryan De Corsie Ewen has just made an announcement on X (Twitter) on closing a couple of the marketplaces he owns: Flip. uk (an established UK marketplace that was started by a known UK domain investor Colin with an idea that the UK domainers needed a fee-free marketplace) and Brandable.uk.

Announcement:
Flip.uk + http://brandable.uk will be closing on October 27th as we shift our focus to other projects.

If you need to download any paperwork or records, please make sure to do so before October 27th.

If you need any help, reach out to [email protected]

You acquiring them?

Can't even take these marketplaces free of charge > have a promise (self taken obligation) to our industry marketplaces that I will stay neautral = this is the only way for the marketplaces to be active at DNForum and other ccTLD forums of ours.. can't be seen as a competitor..

for example, a German domain forum domainfragen.de is absolutelly awesome and the community is super active > but, as it is owned by the marketplace elitedomains.de > it is very difficult for them (almost impossible) to get major marketplace members like @Sedo, @godaddy, @NameSilo, @Unstoppable Domains, @fruits.co, @Nameshift, Sven (Germany), Freename and more..

.. so, I am staying away from risking loosing fantastic connections gained over years who trust us that we are as neutral and friendly place for all businesses.

.. hopefully this makes sense :)
