Is it safe to advertise a premium domain name for sale.

For example, if you bought say Blue .com and put it on ebay one week or one year later would that action carry some risk ?

I don't think it would. I think it's good exposure for the domain if you are attempting to sell. The one thing you could do is hide your whois info. That is where some of the problems arise. Just pay the extra money if you want the extra security for that domain and I think you would be about as safe as you can be. Cheers.

It could ruin your chances of selling it again if the auction went wrong or something to that degree

ie. are you providing ammunition to a potential Reverse HiJker just by advertising a domain for sale?
