I've never sold a domain before, is paypal a safe method of payment?

If its under $100 and the the member is a verified by paypal u can go with it i suppose but i would prefer escrow.com or moniker's escrow serve

Cheers :yo:

I would never use Paypal. Escrow.com or some other escrow service makes sure that the buyer and seller don't get ripped off. Money and domain are safe from transfer before all is verified.

Like Ehsan said, PayPal is fine "If its under $100 and the the member is a verified by paypal". While PayPal will not protect you like Escrow.com would, but the Escrow fees on a low value domain would greatly increase the purchase price. For a low value domain, those services are just too expensive. Make sure they are at lease PayPal certified, better yet look at their iTrader rating if they sell on DNForum. Just my two cents.

paypal is fine for transactions up to low x,xxx if you feel safe with the seller. But paypal fees can be rough, as can some escrow fees.
