This one was recently regged on July 23 / 2000 untill July 23 2022. It was untill recently one of the premium .tv names with a $1,000,000.00 a year registration fee.

No .tv announcements and likely a quiet deal for $?

So my question to both the bulls and bears on this forum is. What do think this 20 year registration is worth?

 

30-40k I would guess, may well have got more. One of few .tv's worth owning in my opinion.

It is a good one but they are going to have one major problem. When they start spending a lot of promotional $, and people are aware of sex.tv, they are still likely to type SexTV.COM into their browser. For that reason Snoopy's guess is may not be too far off.

Duke of Earl makes an intertesting point. What is better

sextv.com or sex.tv. Right now some will say sextv.com is better due to the dominance of .com. In the short term branding sex.tv will drive traffic to sextv.com but will this last? The sex.tv folks are in it for the long time like 20 years. So which one will be better in say 2012?

Not necessary, some .tv also share typi-ins from its dotcom brothers I think:razz:

I got a v????s.tv with an under construction page which has about 20s type-in per day . because v????stv.com is a big adult stream medai website
There are some people tend toward ???.tv rather than ???tv.com obviously.

I think that a value of something like $500m was put on sex.com....the domain was actually stolen from some guy who had fought for years to get it back.
