I was a UK casino dealer earning a low wage when I quit my job 5 years back. At the time my earnings from the net were less than my dealers wage and I had no savings (but very nice parents I could scrounge off if necessary
) but my wife also a had job (low paid too).
For a year or so things were VERY tight and then my wife had a baby and I really had to start working hard if I didn't want to go back to the daily grind. A year later things were ticking over nicely and now I'm making more money than I ever expected I would, and have the benefits of working from home.
Starting out on your own is always tough, but it has to be done at some point - go for it
