stickies in the newbie group

No big hurry on this. Just thought it would be handy to make some of the posts in the Beginners/Newbies group into stickies. There are a few older ones that have really good advice for beginners.

EDIT: Ok, I'm guessing GOLD doesn't have the capability. I only get 3 options under Thread Tools -> Show Printable, Email this page, and Subscribe to this Thread.
