It would be awesome if you would have the "Subscribe/Unsubscribe" set to default of "Unsubscribe" i normally forget to uncheck it and my mail box gets used up!! :( thanks!

There's an option for that in the control panel under "Edit Options" in the "Messaging & Notification" section called "Default Thread Subscription Mode."

I like being subscribed to forums because im always interested in knowing what people are saying about topics that ive been talking about

An alternative would be to do a Search by User Name (yours of course) and Show Results as Threads.

Not really- I have a client called incredimail that i have set to check for mail every 5 minutes. when a forum i have subscribed to is replied to, I know about it within 5 minutes without having to mess about with the search engine...

also i have set it so messages from dnf mailer(which is used to notify you) are moved into a seperate folder.

its called incredimail if you want it - it saves a lot of time.
