Have there been any issues of people having a specific surname being able to make a claim on the respective domain name?
What are some of your suggestions for developing these names? I was thinking of creating a free mail portal as has been done on some other surname.com sites I've seen. In this case it appears Hivemail and Socketmail look like good options.
And as for other ways of generating revenue on these domains, does anyone have any experience to the effectiveness of geneology/family tree related content/affiliate programs?
