The Future Begins Jan 24, 2011.

Beginning January 24, 2011 I will be entering into a new program and a new specialty certification.

I am one of only the first 80 people in the entire country to have been selected into this program since its inception.

I just received news of my acceptance a couple of days ago.

To say that I am excited and overjoyed is an understatement. When I received my confirmation of acceptance the other day I had to reread it and reread it to get it to even sink in.

The certification will involve a very intense 6 month module that will have at least 400 classroom contact hours followed by an internship.

For now, that is all I will disclose regarding the position, school, and training.



What this does mean for me is that, due to the heavy demands it will place on me and my time, I will not be able to devote much time at all to the domaining side of things. Nor will I have much time to spend on the forum (cheers, applause, cries of joy from many...)

I have been working hard with Joomla and WordPress to get sites up and studying site making, SEO, but now will have to put that on hold.

Over the next few weeks I will be offering up several hundred (thousands ?) of names up for consideration. Rather than set prices, I will ask for offers within the range that I think is reasonable. This is the best way I know how to handle that number of names.

I am extremely, extremely excited.

Initially I was told they would not be notifiying applicants until after the final posting date of January 7th.

My application package was just submitted last week. I wanted to ensure I had a big enough cushion and did not want to procrastinate. I honestly was shocked when I found out so soon that I had been accepted into the spring's class.

Staying in the Clinical Medicine arena, as I mentioned this a new specialty that is in huge demand but very few qualified people -only 80 people have completed this certification in the entire USA. Demand now and in the near future is in the tens of thousands. Right now, this is under everyone's radar. As soon as the word gets out, the enrollment will pick up. Getting in early puts me in prime position to proctor other people and serve as a consultant. The only concern I have going into this is the travel demands that would ultimately come.
