Hey,

I'm kinda new to this domain stuff! I was just wondering why people think that in 1-2 years domains will be worth much more. What evidence/reasons are they basing this on? And will it happen?

Eg. Domainprofiles said about lid.net:
todays market = $ 150 - 475
In 1 or 2 yrs. = $ 500 - 950

Mark
(i think this question goes in domain appraisals!)

Simple. The economy is bad. We're hoping it'll get better. Then everything will be worth more, not just names.

And I probably would have put this in Miscellaneous, personally.

I moved this to the appropriate category. Please keep the appraisals section for appraising specific names.

Thanks!

Domain will probably go the way of the economy. When it is bad, so is the domain business, when the econmy picks up, so will the domain business.

It should have been moved to the lounge

Mirror, mirror on the wall, how's the economy after all? :D
