I don't want to name names but I can think of at least 8 guys under 25 making 3m+ a year from their adult sites. I think a lot of people give attention to the "celebrity" webmasters and forget quite how many people there are making a good living from websites who don't want attention.

I think a lot of the "income" numbers in that list are completely bogus. I also suspect that many of them turned over part or majority of the operation to venture capitalists, so the term "running the website" gets a bit muddy in definition.
