.tv premium not legal!

Dear all,

I noticed that enom had made an unlegal move the past 3 days.

As they said they would start the bargain for all the premium names the same day (1st May 2007) This has been proven that is a TOTAL LIE!!!

Just check the domain celebs.tv or baby.tv for example that are considered to be premium names but if you search for them will see that are not available!!!

With a whois search that i made i saw that celebs.tv and baby.tv are registred from 29-mar-2007!!!

Can someone give me a detailed answer about it????

Yes, I can answer that. I interviewed their VP of Marketing and here is an excerpt from the interview.

"All 53,000 Premium Names that have been off the market for close to five months will be available for registration beginning at 1pm Pacific time (4pm Eastern) on Tuesday May 1. Go to DomainsInDemand.tv to register Premium Names. Please note that Verisign is responsible for setting the prices of Premium dot tv domain names and not enom.tv or Demand Media."

If you expressed interest in a premium domain you were added to the notification list. It seems as though only $1000+ priced Premium Names were put out as offers by email to interested parties.

There was a buy it now price in the emails so I would guess that someone paid the buy it now price on celebs.tv

Has anyone been able to see the premium names for sale?

The list of 53,000 will be available at 4pm Eastern but as of yet, I do not of a the entire list being released but I will be talking to DemandMedia VP again soon and will try to get the list.

I hate differential pricing. One good reason not to invest in .tv domains.
Are the listed prices a one-off acquisition fee or is it the reg fee that will be applied every year ?

the reg fee will be applied in every year unless they state something in the coming months, but i doubt they do so
