Hello all,

Iv'e noticed quite a few references to the infamous type-ins.
If you need to "prove" popularity to a potential buyer this might help. There are actually some pretty reliable statistics at http://www.overture.com Inside of the advertiser center there is an option titled "search term suggestion tools". I mainly deal in industry specific domains. When I'm selling a name and an individual asks for specifics relative to popularity I frequently use this as a reference because it shows them how many times in any given month a search was done on that particular subject. I've been doing advertising and doing business with Overture for a while now and their accuracy ranks high IMHO.

Hello brobo and thank you for the link.

For an even more stringent test of the potential a word or phrase may have as a type-in, try adding .com to your search term using the overture suggestion tool.

Congrats for the industry-specific name sales you've had. Are they mainly .coms?
