When you view your stats, is the day by day monthly report in UK date format or US date format (the CSV report, not the regular HTML report).
To see this you must open the CSV file in a text editor and not Excel (which automatically formats the date).
Ex: are dates expressed as "27/12/2005" (UK) or "12/27/2005" (US)?
