From what I can see, aside from using poor keywords, parking domain names with netsol or with godaddy, will severely undermonetize a domain name, as they are really advertising their own services even more then the applicable ads, and they are not aesthetically pleasing.

As such, I would like to know if anyone has experience buying a parked domain from people who ostensibly know enough about domaining to actually park the name, but have not realized it's true parking potential.

Actually this sounds like me. I know enough to park names, but virtually nothing further. Indeed, I've posted to that effect. Thanks.

Funny thing about "parking" is that you have to "move" your names around to find the best results.

Some domains perform better at one provider and vice versa.

Keep testing.

These opportunities exist, but you need to be concerned about the quality of traffic you might get from people who are only in the business half-way. A lot of times the stats don't go over 20-30 days on such domains. These "undermonetized" domains are where you are most likely to get burned.
