I don't think I did anything. I sent a PM and then the unread posts link (normally under the "Welcome, draggar" at the top) disappeared. :?:

No number for me as well but it doesn't really matter.

Yeah there is no number displayed.

Is this works better then the previous way we can stick with this.

Let me know which way you like better.

Thanks

Without the number for me. Number is only confuses me when you access the forum being in different time zones, countries, from various PCs...

also I am not sure if you need a dot after Unread Posts

Unread Posts.

also You last visited: time is not right for me. 4:47 PM, when it's 23:21 PST or 2:21 AM EST

without # is fine as well for me.....

thanks huss.....

I. however, prefer knowing the nuumber of posts. If it is a couple hundred, I'd scan through the pages. If it was 500, I'd just mark them as Read.

Now I have to go through umpteen pages, the total now unknown, to figure out how many posts I've missed. So, yes, I miss it.

no unread link here

The unread posts link appears but the actual number does not. We agreed here that this way would be better then the previous way that include the total.

With this way you can click on a unread post and have it continue to show up just unbolded in the unread post section, ie showing both read and unread posts.
