I watched a new release movie yesterday that listed a url in it, After the movie was done, I decided to see what was on that site, to my surprise, the domain is not registered!

Now I am trying to decide if its worth the $ to register it..

anyone else ever grab a domain they saw listed in a movie that wasnt registered?

Thanks

Would 8.88$ be that much of a waste. All depends on the popularity or market.

If it's not gone by now then grab it - worth a gamble for 7 bucks.

$12 us actually... .ca domain ;)

I regged it anyways, the domain is icequeen.ca

Movie Decoys 2004 http://www.decoysthemovie.com/

One of the alien girls is explaining to a guy why they came to earth, they found this website icequeen.ca and decided to come here because of this :D

Interesting movie :D

Actually, just read that there is a decoys 2 coming out ;)

I am unsure if i should put up a for sale sign and a redirector incase any traffic comes from it or throw on a fan site for the movie?

Any suggestions?

Nice grab :-)

I would put the domain up for sale and direct it to a parking site. Then you can offer it to fan sites or movie related sites.

Park it at DS, let us know how to goes.

I saw something on Napolean Dynomite, I forgot what the domain name was >:o
