.US better or .info better for same word?

If I have signle word domain in .US and .info which one is more valuable?

considring the word is a general term! (Not country specific?)

I'd take a .info over a ccTLD anytime.

Non-hack? Really won't matter - traffic will be based on SEO and not type in for either.

I'd say go with the .US if you're trying to go for US traffic, if not, then .info.

.info 99.99% of time

.us is crud apart from geo and maybe an exceptional hack and top keywords.

the top keywords and geo would trump the .us anyway in .info

the search function don't work too good so scour each section, month etc
look in cctld sales

also google it. there aint been many to be honest. i think the biggest was video, and that was took off winner / owner............... twice!

.us is flat, flat, flat at the moment.

I am seeing very little movement in .us at present.

I am seeing several strong sales in .info.

And I had a couple of strong sales in .info last year on sedo.

Naturally, a good domain is a good domain in any extension.

But I really liked siliconvalley.info at more than $20K I believe (had so many auctions I was involve in I can not keep them straight.

One that recently sold that I am so pissed about missing is muy.info. Went for an amazing $166. OUCH!

Agree with jasdon that the .us extension will work best from the sales perspective.
