The US dollar is down 18% in a year against the Euro. However, it's not sinking.
I doubt the US elections will affect the trend; whoever becomes president will have their hands full with the economy and they must make things work.

DNP wanting to buy currency?

When the dollar matches the Peso, then I'll become an illegal emigrant and a migrant worker.

Hang on to the Loonies. Looks like we are in for a ride.

FOR SALE: The US of A

With oil now starting a march towards $200/barrel and this country having little manufacturing capabilities? I say yes it will happen and the dollar will continue to slide until this country develops some backbone (i.e after the elections). Domains and commodities are a good place to be invested at this time.

The $100 per barrel landmark was schemed by a futures trader who took a loss in order to become known as the "$100 barrel man". The price of oil is artificial and does not reflect the real oil output or reserves. It's a game played on paper. GW Bush and the rest of the posse are responsible for this scandal as well as the $501+ billion dollars thrown out in Iraq's war.

G. W. can't be re-elected, so it can only go up after the election...

Things can only go up from here

Its actually more.. around 1.2 trillion dollars.

Perfectly said..unless we get stuck with McCain...

The Iraq war is hurting the dollar as much as the oil prices.

Watch the dollar jump after Obama/Clinton gets elected.

I like how this thread goes from being about the US dollar to a Bush bashing thread. You all just can't help your selfs.:disappointed:

Now to answer the question will the US dollar continue to fall after the next election. The answer is probably not but nobody can be certain one way or the other even the so called financial experts aren't sure.

Yeah hopefully it tumbles so i can snatch a few bargains, then it rises like the sun so i can cash in ;-)
