Need some ideas on the value of these .US domains?

Conglomerates.US
OilGas.US
StocksBonds.US
LawnGarden.US
Unofficial.US
CDDVD.US
GoldSilver.US
InternetBroadcast.US
DownLink.US

Thanks,
DD

I hate to "stick my neck out" with an appraisal on a yet to be proven .us, but I will say that I like InternetBroadcast.us.

Thanks stevo. This new extension seems to be prety hot right now on AN.

AN is Afternic.com.

Thanks.

Why hasn't AfterNIC done anything to accomodate .us names?

There are +- 50 ccTLD options listed, yet .US isn't one of them.

I have some .US names listed there, it's nice to see bank.us pushing $19,000.

I think the .us demand is going to explode, and leave .com/org/net a distant 2nd in the 3-5 year time frame.

Americar - This is entirely possible, and may be a ploy to promote one or more names.

The buyer will owe AfterNIC about $2,100 in fees if the name sells for $20k. A costly method to promote a name.

Dirk - I don't think any of the valuation models can deal with .us right now, it's too new. Check in hand determines value. Hold onto your names, they will appreciate in time.

.com/.org/.net have been around for 10 years now, lots of history and examples to work with.

My take on some of the name values is that ICANN has limited new TLD offerings, thereby creating high demand and high prices.

I still believe that Internet growth will be exponential, and the demand for good names will always be there.

I have great hopes for the .us TLD, but less enthusiasm for .biz, .info, or most of the proposed .pro, .aero, .name, .coop (chicken coop??) names.

Thanks Kidd. Good info. It looks like for right now the prime one word .US domains are pretty hot. Lets hope this keeps up.

Yes, too damn obvious :)

I'd thought about registering goldsilver.us and unofficial.us myself first week of registrations but decided against it b/c i'd already bought much better names. I knew these would eventually be grabbed. I like StockBonds.us best of all on your list. I own StockReports.us which I think is a better :) and I have already received one offer. As for bank.us I have watched that auction on AN myself lately and i wish AN would have a .us TLD option on their menu. BTW the R*thchild's own Banks.us (no surprise there).

i think the .us will apreciate ahead of the curve but market still imature.

good selection of names

if anyone is selling dot us

i own americasnic
and americasinternetaddress
and americasaddress
and americasname

all dot coms

good luck
