How much could the big websites like FaceBook.com go for?

Myspace etc.

Its for a bet at school.

Someone was trying to tell me FaceBook.com was selling for $X,XXX,XXX,XXX

I think they were asking for 2 billion. They turned down a 780 mil offer or something. What did myspace go for like 700 mil?
 
Funny thing is facebook will probably get the 2bil sooner or later it is asking for.

It'll probably get bought by a TV network as did Myspace. TV networks already control the U.S. media. I'm sure they'd want to control this..
