VB 3.5 ISssues being worked on today.

Here is a list of what will be fixed today.

Please feel free to add anything else into the list.

1- homepage, Seems that everytime I log in there I get logged out. Cookie problem
2- area 51 permissions
3- fab peemissions for gd.
4- some users see warning points some dont
5- Reputationn system works for some not all
6- Gold cant post to dcg or area 51
7- For some reason when jdk post, it doesn't add to my post count.
8- Change avatar issue
9- Don't have access to the Refer a Friend link at the top.
10- SIg limits not in place
11- Ribbons need sizes, the pages are loading all stretched out until the last ribbon loads.

impactadmin, when I log into chat, and I then refresh the page at DNF, it again asks for re log in.
no comlanits, just trying to help by reporting, and hopefully guide you to the source of the problem.

I know there have been some issues like this that have been resolved.

The only 2 things I can tell you try is:

1. Delete your cookies and make sure you close all your browsers and then reopen one.

2. Login from http://www.dnforum.com

Fixed now. You may need to re-login, but the cookie should hold throughout the site.

The cookies hold throughout the site but do not hold if you open a new browser window. I have DNForum posts show up in my Web Clips on Google Desktop, and everytime I click on a post I have to login to DNForum again.

Same issue with myself - sent support ticket, but every time I showup at DnF - I need to log in - but not in any other forum...

I have deleted the cookies.
I still have the problem.
in trying to help, here are some observations that might be able to help:
I am using FF.
once logged in (again) all is fine. when I go to the chatroom, I need to relogin.
when I am using Safari for MacosX, there does not seem to be any relogin problems.
from that observation, I am guessing this issue might have something to do with FireFox and DNF.

1. Clear your cache in your browser by clicking on Tools, Internet Options, Delete Cookies.
2. Login from the URL: http://www.dnforum.com

Yes it seems there is a small issue somewhere that needs to be resolved.
I have my tech looking through and trying to pin point what the problem may be.

I will update the thread here when we get to the bottom of this.

Seems for most people, by cleaning their cache it solved the problem, however it still remains for others.

Is is just me or has DNF DNS been quirkly the last couple days. I am getting a lot of dns messages and have to back and click a link again for the page to display. Didn't know if it was just my post-hurricane Florida internet or DNF itself.
