So the other day, my client calls me at 3:38 am, yes AM. He wants to know if there were any offers on any of his domains. I was dead to the world, literally. Was like, um, no.. thinking to myself, he had just asked me that about 5-6 hours earlier.

Well, we are shooting the shit. I didn't have the heart to turn him away. He was talking about God and rearranging his priorities.

Finally he asks me if I like 3 letter domains, I was like "who doesn't"

Here is the bomb...

"Why don't you put up my bail and I'll let you have my best 4 domains."

Well transfer the names over and I'll bail you out....

This was sent to me from my buddy...

i didn't find it funny, do you??

Are you serious?.. where do you even find these "clients"?

depends.... what are the 4 domains???... hahaha now thats funny :pound:

:yo:

This isnt my client. This was sent to me from my inner circle :-)

Had me fooled, I was thinking ... ka' ching!! Just think of how many times you will be able to tell this story in the future. Good gag.

For a second there, I thought you were in trouble *again* :D

As funny as your story may sound, I once really had a Chinese domain owner call me at around 3am because he wanted me to broker his domains. He even wanted me to fax my business license to him, because, according to him, such information were required before doing business in China. Well, I thanked him and told him I was too busy working with other clients already. And the next time maybe he should consider the different time zones before calling someone at the other end of the world. ;)
