This is just a warning about a deadbeat member.

The member Tinnitus fails to fulfill his obligations.

He makes offers on items and then there is no communication after price is agreed.

This is just a warning to avoid business dealings with him.

I think that you should provide more convincing evidence. Thanks

Member agreed to purchase a set of domains here at DNF. We agreed on the purchase price, and he stated he needed 24 hours to make payment, which I feel is customary, and said, ok. It is now over a week later and after emailing, and PM'ing there has been no response. I have the conversations showing the agreement.
A week with no response leads me to beleive he had no intentions of actually purchasing the names, and was just wasting people's time.
I know nothing has happened to him, becasue he is still visiting other forums, but has avoided this one since the agrement.

One week is not so much. I have been waiting for a payment from iReit, yes... iReit, for a month, yes a month, and I have not posted anything.
Also, this kind of posts must be showed in the same thread of the sale.

I don't think one week can turn someone into a liar (though not siding with anyone). I have carried out deals here that lasted upto 2 weeks to get payment and I never tarnished any members name. Patience is very important before jumping into early conclusions!

I have patience, The deal was also to be concluded the next day. A couple extra days would be ok, but no contact after several attempts and no explanation or anthything for over a week, and that is the problem.
Plain and simple, if you make an agreement stick to it.

Ive had one transaction with Tin, all went well.

There were some gaps in our communication, but he followed through.

Sorry you've had a bad experience.

Don't spam this in multiple forums, and let's not get into the discussion of whether making an offer is a binding agreement or not, let's just say, if someone makes an offer, and then decides they don't want it, move on to the next buyer.

Does this mean
I see name for sale.
Post sold.
then decide i dont want them so dont pay, Waste everyone else time.
and i wont be warned or get negative feedback for this?

Wont this have a nevative effect on how marketplace runs?

Yes, I too am getting sick of this. I'm currently engaged in my third sale for a certain name on this forum because of non paying buyers.

A verbal/written agreement to buy a domain should be binding, as it tends to cascade down to other sellers/buyers whom may have been relying on the funds.

He made an offer, and I counter offered.
We came to an agreement on the price, and
He said he needed 24 hours to make the payment.
This constiutes a contract to purchase imho.
I have recorder conversations of him accepting the deal and stating he need the 1 day to pay.
Now over a week later, he has not replied to any emails or PM.

This was more than just accepting an offer. This was fully agreeing on a purchase price and setting arrangements for payment, Then no further contact.

I would like to know how this is considered spam Giantdomains?
I am not advertising anything except warning people not to waste there time with a memebr whose transaction WILL NOT go through.

I thought this was the point of a COMMUNITY ?
To help people, expose the poeple that are frauds, and to have a sense of security when dealing with other domainers.
If it is wrong to warn people and save them the hassle i have just went through, then i guess this is not the community I though it was.

Yes, that's definitely an agreement there. It really depends on how one perceives "professionalism". I close deals in minutes or hours. 48 hours is already dragging it out too long. But what can you do, one cannot expect everyone to be of the same high standards.

Nicely said.

I Just thought I had a responsibility to warn others of his actions.
