webnamecorp an appraisal scammer?

I was preparing to send this purchase inquiry packing, but decided to do a little research instead. It looks like someone from webnamecorp has attempted to get domain holders to buy useless apraisals. They didn't succeed in at least one case, but that hasn't stopped them from trying. I'll consider the email I received a badge of honor (it must be because the quality of my domains has gotten better).

Anybody else been approached lately?
