WebSite (.ws) Listed on top for a popular keyword

A year back I had registered a callingcard.ws in order to be placed on the top 25 search result for the popular keyword calling card (OV # 106646).

I am happy to report that http://www.callingcard.ws is placed on top for the keyword Calling Card on Yahoo.

Although this might be short term ranking (untill Yahoo changes their search algorithm), I feel it is a big win for .ws keyword websites.

Congrats!! It's nice to see that you are ranking high without the quotations. This does prove that you can rank high with a competitive keyword using the .ws domain.

note: I have to laugh to myself every time someone posts on here that their site is ranking #1 for keywords in quotations. I am happy to see that you didn't. It means quite a bit more.

It is awsome, however it has nothing to do with the ext. It has everything to do with seo.

No, what the Yahoo & AltaVista spiders did say was "hey, look at this callingcard domain, it is set up just the way we like it' "Ooooo look at the title, look at the tags and man that content!" "This site would be perfect for anyone searching for a calling card" "Let's rank it highly" :approve:
