I was browsing the newly-expired domain lists this morning, saw one which looked kind of interesting, came here to read the boards and think about it, went back to register it and *POOF* it was gone!

What is it they say, "he who hesistates is lost?"

naah - trust your 1st impresions. If it was that good you would not have hesitated in the first place. I would not be suprised to see it on the same list next year either.

For a lark - mention it here and prove me wrong :)

OK, well, that makes me feel a little better. :) It wasn't something I had an immediate idea of how to develop, so I initially passed, then thought maybe it would be worthwhile.

It was 4ex.net.

[Edited to add -- on the bright side, I just registered a dropping domain which apparently no one but me wanted... I did kind of "beat myself" since I had a bid in with NameWinner... that was exciting... total adrenaline rush when on a refresh it all of a sudden came up as "available." ]
