what is a good pop-up stopper?

any suggestions please.

A heavy book.

we used to have pop-up stopper from Panicware
looks like that guys lost the domain to some one and that site is gone now.

Any thing just to block the pop-up but still let me see google ads etc.

Do fire-fox have the option to allow regular ads and just block pop-ups?
or is that a package deal - they block all ads.

Firfox tells you that it has blocked a pop up and then you can choose to display the blocked pop up window

and Firefox has way better security settings than IE and you can clear all your cookies and cache and history on log out and the best part of all - it's not Microsoft!!!

Firefox also has good ad-ons for other annoyances, like ad-block plus.
