We have more than one of many useful tools around the web.
Digg and TinyURL have their competition and many people in the world are still just learning about such tools as TinyURL or DIGG.
The political cycle this time around really brought attention to the web 2.0 apps and social networking.

There will always be competition.
It's not about if you have the tools, but who has the best tools - and service.

Well, quite. I'd give it a half-cow rating. Who is it that makes the investment decisions for these hair-brained spin-offs?

Or maybe we're still waiting for the 'insider' post about the technology adopted by this revolutionary new site that reveals some type of innovation that we can't immediately see?

To domainers it's standard features, but to 99% of the population it might seem new or cool. Looks a little like Twitter how they laid out the site, but seems like you can use their free feature to create 'hovers' to 5 of your sites, or more if you upgrade. My suggestion join and try to get a cool username before they're all taken.

The web is still so new for so many people.
On the "Today" show they were showing a 4gb Thumb drive and how to plug/unplug it from a (techic term here): usb port.

We work out here. Many of us for years and know the terrain (even if it changes daily) we got our grips.

Mainstream Americans are just getting that we are in a global economy,the world has gotten much smaller and how much technology is playing and will continue to play in our lives is becoming numbingly apparent.

So if you never heard of igoogle then hover may look pretty good.

I'm still trying to get my family, friends, and local community to understand the power of domains, particularly local-geo names.

I think we are in for nice 2 years of growth online. The brick and mortar got sacked (still is yo-yo-ing and the mainstream is yet to feel the real affects) will be looking for new ways to market....and someone to help them get there.

With the current cell phone (touch&full html) on the market the world wide web has finally gobbled up enough money,marketing, and people's time that it cannot be ignored. Not to mention those phones help during the sales process.

anyway with more phone connections to the net, they will surely bring more traffic as people access the web to and from work, school etc.
