Hi,

I want some names that are something like widgetsworld.xxx.
Since the .com are owned by UltSearch and it seems they're not interested in sale and I really, really want those names, I already got the .net and .org versions of the names.
I was planning to develop the .net version and give promoto of the "network" of "world" sites, something like that.
But somehow I woke up today with the idea of the ".org" version would be more brandable together with the "world" ending for my domains.
I'm not native english speaker, so I really don't know how it "sounds", or how it looks. Any advise ?

Here you go: just turn your volume on and click the speaker button.

Almost forgot to add.....these worlds rhyme with "world"----curled, hurled, swirled, twirled, whirled

Funny.
Well, I was asking for the gTLD that rhymes better with "world" !!
I say loud widgets-world-dot-org
And widgets-world-dot-net
:)
For gTLDs (and actually ccTLDs), .com "rhymes" with just ANY word. I mean whatever-dot-com sounds good. :-D

Yeah I know, I wonder if my strategy of use .net/.org is a bit (or lot) stupid. :(
But really the "world" ending sounds just too good ...

What else word would you postfix to denotate a portal-like site ?

widgetsworld.com
widgetsportal.com
widgetsguide.com
widgetsreview.com
widgetsmagazine.com

Any other ?

In my case, "widgets" is a software product.
