First we had one of the coldest winters on record.

Then, we had this awful heat wave here in south Florida where teps were ~20+ degrees above normal.

Now, yesterday the temperature where I live (near Fort Lauderdale) was 82 degrees. My parents said it was close to 100 where they live in northern new England.

It was at least 15-20 degrees cooler here than Boston, Philly, NYC, and DC.

40 ℃ here in Beijing China (equals to 104 ℉)

:mad2:

100 ℉ here.. Hot Hot Hot.... and last week was in high 70s and low 80s

Since Al Gore and Tipper are separating, they have not decided who will control the global warming so the temperature is our of control.

It's 100 degrees here in Pennsylvania.

Hot as hell here in Ottawa.. 44-46 with the heat index. 46 degrees Celsius = 114.8 degrees Fahrenheit

It's 97 F here in northern Massachusetts. I LOVE this weather.

It is a left wing conspiracy. All caused by Obama.

Nice weather here in Serbia.

Few days in May/June that were extremely hot, the rest is great. It's pretty cool at night and I'm still wearing t-shirts, I'm kinda used to cold weather and don't have a problem with it. The only problem I have now is that I know this won't last for long and the heat is coming.

Damn I hate those extreme heats, I'm seriously considering moving down my computer to the basement before it comes.

At a beautiful 76 degrees in July, past few weeks in the 70's and 80's, what a great conspiracy! And if you say O caused it, well 'Thanks O!' (beats starting a war..)

Already, the hot dry weather, not enough rain, and generalized parched conditions have prompted farmers to already turn under their crops.

This is horrible and devastating to see happen yet once again in this area.

I have scaled back my farming quite a great, concentrating on the berry crops.

I use drip irrigation but we are talking several rows that are perhaps 100 feet long and easy to manage and maintain.

As for my wife and I, we are growing enough beans, tomatoes, peas, and peppers for ourselves.

We have talked a great deal about our faming plans and crops we want to concentrate on.

We have about 1 acre cleared and turned that we will not plant this year.

We have decided that next year we will offer this spot to a local church to use for a community garden spot.

But, for this year there is already enough to be distraught about over the local farming and oppressive heat.

I have not mowed the grass in two weeks now.

102 today in DC - felt like an oven
