where are my domains???

check this out.

a few years ago, I regged these domains (among many others) at register.com

Some I transfered, and some I let expire and re regged (in this case at godaddy).

whois-search.com shows the domains to be still at register!!!

example:
amstaff.info
amstaffs.info
(dog breed)

I have an email from register crediting me back the domains from over a year ago because they charged me even though they already where at godaddy after a transfer, and I even paid for a renewal at GD.

can someone tell me where my domains are???
This is the tip of the iceberg, as whois is showing this for 30+ of my domains that I checked for.
Would really appreciate any advise.

Check with the authoritative whois, and in this case:

whois.info

and you can tell e.g. amstaff.info is registered with GoDaddy (R171-LRMS)

Because when you register a .info or .biz through Register.com, THEY name themselves as the Billing Contact. Just login to your GoDaddy control panel and change it back to yourself.
