where can I park?

Hey folks!

I have a few questions about domain parking, if anyone cares to answer them I'd appreciate it :)

1) do I need Adsense account in order to make money with domain parking? Because I don't have one yet, and - given how long it takes to get approved into Adsense nowadays (and I believe I would need to have a fully-working website too, which I don't) - I won't be getting one soon, so this will be a problem for me...

2) do I need to send traffic to my own parked domains? I've dealt with domain parking only once, but that's over 15 years ago and I don't remember how this works exactly.

3) KYC... I'm a big hater of getting KYC'd by random foreigners who have no business knowing my phone number, where I live, or how I look like. So... is there any KYC involved at ANY step of the process (signing up with the parking company + setting up my domain inventory + making money with my parked domains + getting the money out from the parking company) at all, and if yes, what level of KYC are we talking about (ID level only, ID + proof of residence, ID + proof of residence + proof of liveliness, etc)?

4) assuming that the answers to the previous 3 questions are to my liking, which parking platform are you recommending that...

a) is free to use (I think SEDO want me to pay before I can park with them, so that's not an option)
b) is easy to sign up with (Bodis, for example, are asking for some invitation code that I've no idea where to get, so this option is also not working for me)

c) pays decently (I don't mind splitting the revenue with the parking company as long as they don't rip me off by taking like 50-60% or more from my parking revenue, or as long as they don't KYC the living crap out of me, or put roadblocks of any kind in my process of making money, etc)... so, as long as a company plays fair and has my best interest at heart I'm in!

d) (optional but highly desirable) proactively works towards increasing the traffic to my parked domains and / or increasing my earnings (and, therefore, their earnings too since they'll be taking commissions - I presume - from my earnings anyway)

I did check Namesilo (since I've been using them as my main domain registrar anyway for over a decade) but they want me to own an Adsense account which - like I said - is not possible for me at the moment. Maybe later down the road, but not now, so NS is not a good option either)

Sedo and Bodis are unusable for the reasons I've explained...

ParkingCrew I just contacted about 7-10 days ago, asking them the exact same things I'm asking here, but they've not replied yet and - given how long it's been since I've contacted them - I don't think they'll reply anyway, which is a bad sign if I'm being honest as I don't like joining companies that give zero fucks about their customers.

GiantPanda I've heard good things about, but I've checked them and don't remember what it was,. but there was something about them that I didn't like (probably something about KYC as this is my biggest trigger these days, I absolutely despise being KYC'd by perverted scumbags who are more preoccupied with mining my data then they are with raising their nephews and nieces...)

So yeah... these are the options that I know of and - as you can see - nothing is even decently usable by me for various reasons...

So, what (other) options do I have for parking my domains (about 10-15 for now, I might have more in the future) and make a few bucks by being the lazy fuck that I am (ie. by doing NOTHING for that money)?

If there's any parking expert in here that can, and wants to share a few tips please do so, and I'll return the favor with the 1st chance that I get :)

Thanks, and I look forward to hearing your kind suggestions!

I am not here to help you because I can't , but I am thanking you for providing a summary of all the popular parking platforms at once.

never heard of it, thanks for the mention...

EDIT: oh, I just noticed that PL is a forum member :D

Here is a quick breakdown of the main domain @Parking Service companies, as I see them.

In the top, there are companies that have direct Google feed. These otherwise are called the "Tier 1" companies.. they always avoid using the word "Google", even in casual conversations (Note: all these companies are affected by Google’s 2025 changes, where the imapct varies):
- @Sedo
- ParkingCrew - belong to the Team Internet group (rebranded from CentralNic)
- Bodis
- Giant Panda - @Paul_GiantPanda - they are the company that received the Google AFD feed in the November 2024 (newest from this category).
.. I think this completes this list

Then, there is a niche of parking/monetizing brand typos:
@SitePlug (India) .. belongs to a large American company "Affinity Group"
dengimedia.com (UK) - very old

And here is a group of ultra established parking services providers, that send traffic to multiple feeds (including Google via their partners)
@ParkLogic, that is owned by @Michael Gilmour (Australia)
@Above.com (Australia)
@godaddy runs CashParking (their in-house parking), and as I understand it . Have to admit I haven't seen it represented at any industry events I have attended, though this doesn't mean it doesn't perform, as their products are always well planned and run (otherwise would be closed, I suppose)

The list above are the top of the top, according to my experience running events for the domain business community for 4 years. There must be Asian companies doing this, I haven't heard of these.

Out of newer ones, we have:
domainui.com (UK) that offers domain parking using Amazon
@Monte (the guy who invented whois privacy, sold the 1st domain for 1mil, and more achievements, apart from being a great guy and also running .HipHop) also is offering his own domain parking solution. I don't know the details, yet, though, knowing Monte, this is something to watch for.

have I forgotten any domain parking giants to be mentioned here? :?

aren't Namesilo giants? I mean, they are definitely giants when it comes to domain registering, but not sure about the domain parking part :)

I don't have any typo domain yet, so this is not interesting to me. Of course, this doesn't mean that I hate that you've listed them, I was just saying :)

cool! That's where I need to be :D

@ParkLogic, that is owned by @Michael Gilmour (Australia)
Hi @Michael Gilmour , how's your parking service doing? Can you be bothered to answer to the questions of potential customers, or are you too busy to deal with them, just like @ParkingCrew and @Giantpanda seem to be?

If you don't mind answering them please check the few questions in my initial post of this thread and answer them, I'd appreciate it!

@Above.com (Australia)
never heard of these guys either, I'll check them out.... although, they've not been on this forum since 2017, so yeah... not a good sign. But thanks for the mention either way...

@godaddy runs CashParking (their in-house parking), and as I understand it . Have to admit I haven't seen it represented at any industry events I have attended, though this doesn't mean it doesn't perform, as their products are always well planned and run (otherwise would be closed, I suppose)

domainui.com
I'll have a look at this one too, thanks!

got it!

EDIT: I just contacted domainui.com and asked them 8 questions, I'll see what with / if they reply...
