I just heard about this from an Easter Egg site...

Go to the OpenSRS Whois:

http://resellers.tucows.com/opensrs/whois/

And type in Microsoft.com as the query

Enjoy the nonsense that appears!

Anyone know of any other queries that produce similar results?

LOL dev, good to see Microsoft being generous with the number of registrars it uses.

Amazing what crap you can get into a Host record at the Verisign Registry.

You can do this yourself by registering a host under a .com/net/org domain you own. e.g. if you own bread.com you could register a host such as

dnforum.com.is.the.best.thing.since.sliced.bread.com

Or if you happen to be a futurama fan who owns ass.org you could register the host:

kiss.my.shiny.metal.robot.ass.org

Of course, this only shows up on a WHOIS lookup that is configured to look for hosts as well as domains.
