Can the billing info be concealed from a whois?

I ask because a domain that I have a snap on suddenly changed (I only snapped it yesterday). The only change is this

Administrative Contact, Technical Contact, Billing Contact:

PUBLIC, JOHN Q (JQP13) [email protected]

> Now looks like this

Administrative Contact, Technical Contact:

PUBLIC, JOHN Q (JQP13) [email protected]


Still pointing to the same email address. Has the billing info been updated and now concealed?

New one to me. Never seen that happen to any domain I had snap on. Has the domain entered it's grace period?

I'd only be worried if the domain was with register.com or netsol

have been systematically removing the reference to 'billing contact' likely because it is not really necessary. All of my snapbacks had this adjustment take place after the snapback was placed. They eventually drop if not paid up. Nothing to worry about

Yes it is with NetSol and it expires early next year.
