Why can't signatures be backdated?

I don't know the term for it but why can't signatures on DNF be the same as other forums which update the signature on all posts, instead of only new ones?

Sure they do, that bothered me as well, so I actually ran a query and changed some code recently to fix that issue.
Try again, hit the refresh button really hard this time and see if your refresh grabs a fresh version. Either that or clear your cache and try some old thread again to see if it got updated. I just checked some posts of yours from a long time ago and they look good to me.
