Why do you park where you do?

Ok, this should be a good dicussion thread.

Most domainers change parking companies more that their underwear, ok almost.

Why are you where you are your top three reasons for parking where you are.

You do not need to say where you are parked.

For me it's these three...

Template Choices
Ability to keyword target myself
Customer service

1) Nice support from Matt
2) More Revenue than at other parking companies.
3) Nicer templates that don't look like obvious parked pages.

Though some features like where the traffic is coming from and some other stats would have been helpful.

I'll try NameDrive soon...I think they've tonnes of brilliant templates.

Tried Sedo for some months but made just $ 0.70...same duration at BODIS got me $ 20.0

I prefer namedrive.com because its so simple to use , and you can add your domains with a quickness.

NameDrive-
Instantly populated landing pages
Can Track Traffic from each locale along with searches
Best traffic and return on IDN and Mobi domains
Cons
Overall the lowest PPC I have experienced

Bodis-
Captures and credits for every click
Unquestionably (for me at least) the highest CTR and PPC for hyphenated domains
Better traffic and CTR for .net, .info, .us, and even .biz.
Cons
Inability to track traffic sources, searches, etc (coming in v2.0?)
No stats tracking-simply have to wait until the next day

NameSponsor-
Cons
Dropped them a few years ago after revenue dropped by as much as 80%.
No response to email inquiries.
Sold shortly after all of this...padding the books?

Sedo-
I have an account manager.
Pays on time
Nice stat interface (which can also show their shortcomings)
Cons
I have an account manager.
Does not credit for each click
Days (weeks) before email response
Irrelevant links no matter how many times I monitize and optimize
Poor business model and support Friday thru Monday
Can take numerous days to have pages propagated and up

TrafficZ-
Cons

Parked-
Nice Landers
Almost instant up pages
Cons
Referred to natural type in traffic as coming from unknown sources
Deleted perhaps 90% (100% in some cases) of revenue due to above claim
Downstream advertisers got free traffic thanks to above
Rep came on forum and lied about stats, issues, and dates

That is why I featured NameDrive over Sedo.

IDN better supported on NameDrive. Sedo will allow you to park but will not actively market or allow sales of many IDN.

Dopa? Haven't heard from them in months.

Not many choices for IDN.

Thus, my pros and cons of each that I have personally experienced.

To me:

Bodis

Pros:
- Highest CTR, PPC
- I can put in my own content/pictures/links
- Parking pages don't look like obvious parking pages. Hence the high CTR

Cons:
- Still in beta.
- Very inconsistent revenue.
- Supposedly, is currently full of fraudsters who're bringing the revenue down.

I have most of my names at Bodis and I'm prepared to stick it out through its rough phase. It still pays me better than any other parking service.

Parked

Pros:
- Love the auto optimization function.
- Nice variety of templates and huge picture gallery.
- They pay quickly

Cons:
- Bad for ccTLDs.
- All the reasons that DocCom mentioned above.

I usually keep my domains that I'm feeling too lazy to customize at Parked, especially if they're not major earners. Otherwise, I keep them at Bodis.


Sedo

Pros:
- Ahem..

Cons:
- Too many to list here...
Nevertheless, I still put my names at Sedo first to see what kind of traffic they're getting. If its something substantial, then I move them someplace else. Otherwise, Sedo gets my few pennies every month.

Like it was said before. Nothing matters to me but where my names are making the most money. I am all over the place, and they all do me good for each name I own.

Fabulous - Great for gambling related
TrafficClub - Great for Adult(I have only a few )
DomainSponsor - Great for banking, credit card, financial, and so on.
Sedo Pro - I still have a few here, but they aren't making much.
Bodis - Great for all the small earners I had.
Parked - Another good financial, banking traffic

So in the end, its where each name makes the most money for me is what is important to me.

choice of templates
one click landers
easy user interface, easy to add names
set your own keywords
IDN friendly
stats refreshed throughout the day
optional 'domain for sale' link
99.9% uptime, site always functions like it should

what I don't see often is ability to target by language or country - would like to see a parking company with good supply of French and Spanish ads, or ability to target by country.

would also be nice to let the parking company optimize your template, meaning set to optimize and they can automatically give you the best template based on their overall site stats.

would also be nice to add some of your own links to the pages, content, etc.

one ppc site always paid $0.10 per click. I hated that because everywhere else it always varies, so how can it always be 10 cents per click on various domains? you know something isn't right with that. there's more calls now for ppc providers to open the books and show the numbers - like what % is their cut and what % is yours.
